The Western Cluster is a partnership between the Center for Co-operative and Community-Based Economy (CCCBE) at the University of Victoria, the British Columbia Co-operative Association (BCCA), and various co-operatives and community partners on Vancouver Island and mainland British Columbia.

 

We have are in the final stages of a discussion paper that develops a conceptual and theoretical framework that will orient our research efforts.  We hope that this paper will generate discussion, provoke questions, and elicit comments from its readers.  We want your feedback!  We'll be releasing this paper soon, and we welcome any comments, questions, ideas or criticisms.  Feedback can be sent to Nick Montgomery, our Project Coordinator.  Our hope is that this paper will provide the basis for a research agenda that will complement existing and current research, and support ongoing initiatives within the co-op community.
